I'm getting the same issue atm. Trying to book my mother, PER to CFS return business class reward flight. Have tried with and without her FF details in there. We're both Bronze, so can't imagine it's complaining about seat rights.

Edit: Sorry, Qantas. Depart 28/11, Return 3/12

Gosh I'm trying to think how I got around this problem. I ended up being able to book her reward seat. Might have had to log out and log her back in.

Must be some Qantas glitch for Perth mothers with Bronze status 😂

I managed to get around it by cancelling the booking attempt and starting from scratch and then not selecting seats before checking out. I have a feeling the root cause was when I first selected the flights, I clicked the "Express Checkout" button and then pressed the back button because I needed to modify the person flying.
