I remember reading that if you have a heart pacemaker you should avoid using a massage chair like you see at airports and shopping centres.
I avoid grapefruit as it can mess with my heart drugs.

Yes. The furanocoumarins in grepefruit inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme and some others to amplify the action of the drug so can mess with lots of drugs incl statins, blood thinners, gout, calcium blockers etc. Better to avoid.

Are there any alternatives to Pregabalin that do not cause depression or similar sife effects? Wife took Pregabalin for 2 weeks and it helped with nerve pain but then mild depression set in.

We're going to GP today to get some test results but I think we'll also need to look at steroi_ injection. Pain starts around shoulder blade and works it's way down the back of the arm to the elbow and then down forearm. There's also severe swelling on the inside of the elbow. I can follow the tendon when I give her massage and it hurts the most either side of the elbow.

I've read some reports on AFF. Is a cortisone injection likely to be effective or may not help at all?

I use amitryptaline for my neurological pain with good results. It is an older anti depressant. They do have a few other side effects but the only I get is a dry mouth.
Major worry is glaucoma which it can worsen. Not good for men with enlarged prostatic problems.

We seem to be missing out!

1) Structured water

Edmonds swears by this water in which, advocates claim, the molecular structure has been altered to enhance its effects. For believers, the water is altered by being magnetised. The science on this one is weak. Studies are inconclusive or have questionable methodology. He claims it is water in its purest form and is more easily absorbed by the body.

For a take on this less mainstream advice, I turn to a woman who is a wholehearted believer in alternative therapies and the antidote to my science-obsessed cynicism. Sarah Jones St John is the founder of the Grey Wolfe wellness facility in Barnes, London, that provides many of the approaches that Edmonds has installed in his New Zealand home.

ā€œStructured water carries a clear, life-friendly pattern. Drinking it with intention helps every cell stay vibrant and well-hydrated,ā€ she says.

Structured water machines retail for just under Ā£300, and having neither Edmonds’ wealth or faith, I’m unlikely to invest, however, I aim for 2.5 litres of water a day as a 70kg active man.
