The USA is continuing to accrue unwanted record figures. It has now incurred a record number of deaths over a 7 day period.

How are the death rates per capita though in comparison to other countries? High population is an easy way to have a high number of deaths; but it's really per capita that paints a better picture hence when looking at infection numbers the standard is cases / 100,000 over a 14 day period for example.

Their death rates are currently still better than the UK (just), Belgium, Italy etc but from what I have read that rate is likely to rise because many hospitals have now begun to really struggle with capacity limits. The continuing huge number of new cases is likely to push the total figure of deaths to (edit) even more horrendous levels.

That plus that Thanksgiving travel surge is considered likely to boost infections.

COVID-19 Can Cause Erectile Dysfunction in Men

Might convince a few of those on the fence in the “I’m young and fit and don’t need the Covid vaccine” category to get onboard.
Maybe that might work if they say it causes the appendage to fall off. Otherwise, it will be a case of "that won't happen to me".
One of the unfortunate realities is that "famous" people, even some oldies, are getting Covid and within two weeks they are back to normal.

It would be neat if the vaccine had the same surprise side effect as another Pfizer invention 😉

New first case???

Well that won't go down at all well with someone who keeps calling it the China Virus.

Apart from the boy's swab it also states:

Additionally, a sewage study by the Italian National Institute of Health “unequivocally demonstrated” the presence of the virus in Milan wastewater as early as mid December 2019.

Actually reports of positive antibodies in Italy go back to September 2019.
"Research in Italy on samples from 959 volunteers in an experimental lung cancer treatment undertaken from September 2019 have shown COVID-19 anti-bodies in 14% of the samples. National Cancer Institute in Milan director Giovanni Apolone suggests that the major outbreak in Italy could have been caused because COVID-19 was wide spread in Italy from Summer 2019.[347]"

My husband's relative lives outside Denver with his American wife and two small children. They were initially confident of being safe from Covid as they live about 15 miles outside Denver and have been isolating for many months. They visited the wife's parents last week and the wifes's parents tested positive to Covid a few days later. Now the young family all have Covid and have no family members to help out. The baby is well, but the young daughter is a severe asthmatic. We were very keen for them to return to Australia from the start but I'm so sorry to be proved correct.

SA Health has been testing sewerage but they state they arent releasing their findings as they say it just creates panic and confusion. Likely means they have found nothing because it is my observation that SA Health loves to create panic and confusion.

Perhaps they could start testing the sewage, rather than the sewerage. 😉
