Not sure if you are on Twitter but if you follow him there have been quite a few posts in the last few days about pregnancy and the vaccine.

No, is he the same guy as the Doherty institute guy?

What he doesn't know about immunology isn't worth knowing. The institute is named after him but he quite clearly states that the twitter feeds are his opinion. He isn't involved in things currently coming out of the Doherty institute although I'm sure they are consulting him

His twitter feed is very worthwhile following and reading.

He and Rolf M. Zinkernagel basically figured out how the immune system works with respect to viruses and won a Nobel Prize in recognition of their work.

In his feed he is very patient explaining things to anyone who asks. Amazing that someone like he takes the time to do this. But that is probably reflective of what a giant he is.

It is also quite funny though at times when he say is patiently explaining things to an antivaxxer who has tried to take him on as to why Doherty is wrong, and who then when they realise that are losing the discussion state, well what would you know, you are only a vet obviously completely oblivious as to how important Doherty has been in developing the science of immunology.

Don't break quarantine in Vietnam.
A court in Vietnam has jailed a man for five years for breaking strict Covid quarantine rules and spreading the virus to others, state media reported.
Le Van Tri, 28, was convicted of “spreading dangerous infectious diseases” at a one-day trial on Monday at the people’s court of the southern province of Ca Mau, the state-run Vietnam News Agency reported.
“Tung travelled back to Ca Mau from Ho Chi Minh City … and breached the 21-day quarantine regulations,” the news agency said. “Tung infected eight people, one of whom died due to the virus after one month of treatment,” it added.

Though as he caused a death he probably deserved the sentence.

What happens when "Sovereign Citizens" (who believe Covid restrictions don't apply to them) butt heads with "benevolent dictatorships" .....

Could you Please describe what a Sovereign Citizens is ?

For someone who parrots the 'do your own research' line you seem spectacularly poor at doing your own.

Im asking for different point of view this is how we expand our minds.

The downside of vaccine mandates.

The downside of vaccine mandates.
I don’t think that’s a downside.
There should be no place in health care for anti-vax staff.

But it does increase the pressures on other staff and burn out amongst nurses is concerning.

But so surely is the stress of those nursing staff becoming infected with Covid and they then need hospitalisation. Let alone spread it amongst others in the hospital - and yes I know that vaccinated people can spread it too.

I also think, and same issue, is with Aged care workers who refuse to be vaccinated yet claim they are patient focussed and care for their elderly. Quite simply, actions aren't following thoughts.
