Re: From 'alert' to 'alarmed': terror threat level has been raised from medium to...
I read your comments with a smile on my face meadhead. I have a particular clearance which is Military and another, Police. I also hold an ASIC as I must frequently enter a controlled area covered by ATC and or Ground Personnel, and also am about to hold a MSIC as there needs to be some QA inspections on the shipment of our products to an overseas port. As such I must keep my finger on the pulse so to speak of what I can and cannot do/say/imply - it would seem that your implied level of "security clearance" that you have imposes no such battery limits, which is strange.
We also have a company appointed security adviser on site who has a liaison officer within the government (unsure of the department) who helps to keep our internal threat policy either aligned with the governments policy or slightly higher.
I take everything the government says regarding security of this nation as them only acting in the best interest of Australia, and not some personal attack against a faceless person on an internet forum who hides behind a fake name such as meadhead or chocolate radiation man.
That is only my opinion and I am not forcing it upon you meadhead nor am I making you a victim of the policy I agree with.
We should all take a step back and realise that the policy adopted in this instance is suggested by some of the highest regarded homeland security departments in the world - I for one am happy that the government has taken this direction with or without their transparency on how ASIO and the other departments came to their conclusions.
Like I said you are clearly unaware of everything I do and have done. Notwithstanding your snide comment about the dg of asio.
In other news. Official notification today that the increase was not due to a specific threat.
