Hello... bit of a n00b question here, but I just have to ask.

If I booked a flight from MEL to FRA on LH and QF was providing the MEL-HKG leg, would I be able to claim QFF points for that? Or not, because I booked it through Lufthansa?

If its a QF flight number you should be able to get the points.

Just ring QF & retrieve your booking via date/name/flight & city pair & ask for your booking reference number. You can then log on to the QF site to add your ffn & do your seating etc.

The booking ref will also come in handy for OLCI if you choose this option.

As long as the booking is a paid ticket ie not a fflyer award ticket you will receive the points. It doesn't matter how it's booked eg via another airline system or direct with QF - end result is you are travelling on a QF flight number.
