Hi all I'm sitting at raffles hotel after my flight from Abu Dhabi was diverted to Singapore, I was on a Etihad flight in F to Melbourne, and am now being put on a Singapore flight to Melbourne, my question is do I get status credits for my half flight from Abu Dhabi and do I get credits \ points for the Singapore flight in F

I have no idea why the Etihad flight was diverted but The staff reported a " technical difficulty" and we were diverted to Singapore. Dumped fuel over the sea and the fire engines were revved up, but didn't follow us down the runway. We sat on the ground until they decided it couldn't be fixed, so we were all dumped.

What FF program are you looking to credit to?

In any case, the first thing to do is retain all BP's.

Next, sit back for a week or two and see how they credit without your input.

Best case doing that is you might earn for both AUH-MEL & SIN-MEL. If not, then it's time to consider making a claim, and what to clam for.

When you checkin for your SQ flight make sure your Velocity number is on the booking by presenting the card.
