I have just confirmed my subscription to the Australian Frequent Flyer Gazette and have received a free offer of being able to use a software program called Frequent Flyer Friend for a months trial.

Followed the links and decided to stop when I was asked to download a .exe file to make the software work. I'm afraid I get sceptical and very cautious when I'm asked to download something to make something "free" work.

Am I being totally paranoid? Anyone used it? Any comments?

I ran the one month trial version once, and yes you do need to download and install the .exe on your machine.

I bought this tool last year it worked well for a while then broke down. the supplier was quite good and eventually sent me another link which has worked perfectly till Qantas changed there F award category from Z to P

now the bloody thing gives me eco plus inventory all the time

I have written to the supplier 4 times now and have had no reply .. either he cant fix it or doesnt intend to.

I wouldnt advise anbyone to buy this tool till it is fixed.
