1.5 so 90000 points equals 60000 KrisFlyer or Velocity points

You also need to consider the earn rate.

Off the top of my head, the QF option earns 1 point per $1 spent. So a $100,000 spend will earn 100,000 QF miles.

The Citi Rewards option earns 1.5 points per $1 spent in Australia and 4 points per $1 spent overseas. So a $90,000 domestic spend + $10,000 foreign spend (total spend $100,000) will earn 135,000 + 40,000 = 175,000 Rewards points which can then be converted to Krisflyer or Velocity miles at a 1/1.5 ratio, hence that $100K spend will deliver 116,666 KF or Velocity miles. $100K spent entirely in Australia still gets you 150,000 Citi Rewards points, convertible to 100,000 KF or Velocity miles, ie a 1:1 $/miles ratio. Rewards programs that deliver $/miles parity for Krisflyer are rare.

nothing for me :(
might be because my credit limit is just 14k, a little under Signature's minimum credit limit of 15k

Yeah it seems Signature and the Select card minimum credit limit is $15000 for both cards going via a PDA on the Citibank website :(

Now that I have been paying the ATO alot using the signature card, I am now wondering whether there is a points cap on the signature card. I remember the Citi Plat card had a 120,000 pts annual cap, but despite a search on the Citi website, I could not find the answer. Anyone know?

Of course, seconds after posting the above, I found a lettter from Citi: "If you choose to upgrade to the Signature card, you will continue to earn 1 Qantas Frequent flyer point for every dollar spent and unlimited Qantas Frequent flyer points each year, at the same annual fee you currently pay"

My upgrade has gone through and I'm now on Signature Visa. However my platinum points balance has disappeared :(

The new card has a 30K balance, so I may have scored a new account bonus. Has anyone else with a recent Citibank Visa upgrade lost points associated with the previous card?
