Free upgrade to Citibank Signature Visa

Could someone please post this code. You'd think it's a secret agent code or something. Everybody calls it "the code", "the special code" etc but no one posts it!!!

I lost my welcome pack and need the code for online registration.

I've PM'd you !!

I just tried the code again on the Priority pass website and it came up showing FREE with 2 free visits per year....So it seems that Citibank has fixed it now (a few days ago it showed $12 per year)

I have had a free Plat (plus additional) cards for some time (double free upgrade from gold). Have been sitting on the upgrade offer not sure if it's worth it. Now maybe I have missed the 30 Nov deadline - but will call to plead bneing away....

Has anyone got an upgrade to the Select? Would be more worthwhile than the Signature.

Whoever posted registering the additional card holder as the PP member - did that work?

I missed the deadline but still upgraded, they didn't care.

Yep upgraded today.......

Problem now is went to www.pioritypass.com/citibankaus

put in the offer code - recognised as Citibank offer of membership with 2 free visits etc...

but then once you go through entering your details - and on to the payment page it still comes up with the standard membership levels and asks for my credit card for payment :(

how do i get past that point? (btw I am trying to put in my wife's name (supp card holder) as the PP member as she travels more often on her own without lounge access - but PP site couldn't know that....)

Scratch that - not sure what happened - worked well enough the second time - I did manage to sign up SWMBO as the PP member even though she's the supp card holder :)

I just tried to redeem some Citibank points to Asia Miles and was disappointed to learn that only Citibank Select cardholders can transfer to Asia miles...

I thought (maybe wrongly) about 1 or 2 years ago I as a Platinum cardholder could transfer points to Asia miles. Now as a signature cardholder I can't transfer?

Could we transfer before? If yes, did Citibank provide any notice about this? It really lowers the value of the card for me. I had planned to keep enrolled in the Citibank rewards program but now I guess I should change to the Qantas direct sweep as Singapore airline taxes are ridiculously high & Virgin doesn't have enough International routes or partners.

But on second thought, I guess I should use the HSBC Platinum card instead as they give 2 qantas points per dollar on International spend whereas Citibank will only give 1 qantas point per dollar on international spend. Looks like I will be keeping the free Citibank card only for the priority pass!

Just received a letter reminding me to upgrade to the Signature card and that my expiry date for the upgrade is now 31/12/2011.

Funny thing is, I have already upgraded and already received my new card.

Plus one and they clarify that Signature will remain 1-1 QFF. Phew.

Can't prove it but I was pretty sure that platinum cards could transfer to Asia miles previously. Mind you, never wanted to, as transfer rate and redeem rate wasnt as good as QF or SQ. can't comment on taxes.

Sometimes it makes sense to use Asia Miles if booking a Cathay or Dragonair flight, not only because sometimes the effective points will be less, but also because sometimes Asiamiles has award flights that Qantas can't book.

I very recently booked a return flight Shanghai to Hong Kong return on DragonAir. I found the reward fare on Asia miles website (as Dragonair doesn't appear on Qantas website searches) but ended up booking it with Qantas as I didn't have enough Asiamiles points in my account and it was last minute and couldn't risk waiting to transfer from Amex.

Anyway, booking with Qantas cost 34,000 points as opposed to it costing 20,000 points with Asia miles.

Which is why I subscribe to AFF!!

Might never fly Dragonair, but at least I know how to get the best deal!

Thanks, one9!

upgraded to signature cards in december. also got both primary card holder AND supp card holder our own priority pass cards which arrived about 2 weeks after enrolled online. POSTING as a WARNING- its only 2 visits per year per person...so after having just returned from a 3 week trip and using lounges 4 times (never read the fine print) - have now received letters asking for US 27 pp for the extra visits. Now the annoying thing is- to pay for access to the lounge AT THE lounge was only 20 USD pp..(checked when i went in) but whats more annoying is that Diners members use the lounges for free UNLIMITED all year long (and yes i DO have a diners club just didnt pull it out)...so now have begun a push and pull with priority club to have the fees waived and the entry put onto diners instead...so far they are NOT playing......bit of a joke really - 2 visits a year?? (the lounges at KUL are shocking- dont bother- the HKT lounge not too bad but zero privacy- the lounge at SGN moderate)..

Pity you didn't read the small print. It was posted here a few times as in "what a pathetic measly offer". I wonder if that was the intention - to catch a few extra visits from unwary members.
Had an old diners card but never once used it for lounge access, so got rid of it years ago.
Good luck with your dispute but don't fancy your chances. Please post if successful.

By the way, Nice one on the two cards for you and supp card holder.

I am sorry you are faced with a bill. I would have thought most people would read the terms & conditions of things these days!
