Drats, so they won't allow me in with my tripod and videocamera?

Yada Yada said:Apologies for being OT, but does anyone know why this film is titled "Die Hard 4.0"? :-|
I know this is #4 in the series, but why name it "4.0"? It kind of implies that there will be a 4.1 or 4.2 release. Maybe after people watch it and express their disappointment they'll modify it and release an upgrade or patch to fix the bad bits?
The plot centers around cyber-terrorism this time...hence the computer/software reference in the title.Yada Yada said:but does anyone know why this film is titled "Die Hard 4.0"?

I actually really enjoyed it tonight. Highly unbelievable in parts, but it wouldn't be a Die Hard if it wasn't. Worth seeing for big dose of action.
Cheers,

Reggie said:So oz_mark where abouts in the cinema where you sitting and were you there early and lined up?
A true AFF-er, selecting an aisle seat. But what happened to the preference for a forward aisle seat? Or were you in an exit rowoz_mark said:In an aisle seat about halfway up.
Got there maybe 10 minutes early - when the line had about 8-10 people in it!
How about yourself?

I'd never been to one of these before but I was a bit disappointed in the turn-out. For tickets that go so fast, BNE would have been barely a third full.
Great movie though!!!
Mal said:I think one of the issues with the turnout for this movie was that tickets were given out about 2 months ago with no reminder email.
People forget!
Movie overall ok. Nothing great, but a lot better than I thought it would be. Didn't see any AFF regular's I know at the BNE screening, although littl_flier was there somewhere!

Mal, I was sitting in a middle seat about halfway back. I was happy not to receive my forward aisle preference today. I was wearing a blue-grey jumper, had my work backpack and was with a guy with Red hair and his very short GF. Hope this helps! And where were you? I was also on the lookout for NM but I have no idea what to look for. Can't wait for Hobart when I finally get to meet everyone, although I don't think NM is up for that?Mal said:Nothing great, but a lot better than I thought it would be. Not for me unfortunately, I missed out on that one.futaris said:I'm off to the BNE "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" screening next week. Any other AFF members going?
