Free parking at MEL until June 30!

Wow, unfathomable during normal times and the At Terminal carparks too. The airport must be a wasteland at the moment. There's no way my work or +1 would approve any flights at the moment.
 
I wonder if any opportunist would take advantage as a car storage facility with the free security. :)
 
It's worth mentioning also that, as is usual, MAP refunded our prepaid bookings in full.
Avis still charged a cancellation fee even though travel restrictions made the hire impossible. Regular customers don't like being screwed like that!
 
I guess the car thieves are running short of sources for their spares parts businesses.

Yeah, I was looking at parking over a weekend in early December - $12 open air per distinct calendar day. $25 per day at Terminal.
