Thanks to you guys I am now: WP, Platinum Flying Blue, Platinum Velocity which gave me: Presidents Circle Hertz, HHonors Platinum and now Accor Advantage Plus Platinum.

Now to use them all!

How did you get Platinum Flying Blue? Must have missed that one.

Confirm the AF match is closed.

Mind you, I've picked up VS Gold > AF Gold Elite > DJ Platinum, so I've had a good match run as well.

subharpoon, surprised you didn't try and match onto LH Senator as well when that was open (started in the last few weeks of the AF match).

Thanks elemist - did my application today (already a base A/Club member) and recieved my complimentary status upgrade almost instantaneously. VERY handy, as will be staying twice at the London T5 Sofitel on current trip, so look forward to room upgrade, welcome gift etc.

Tried a few times with very little luck. It keeps going to comments page and eventually ended up to a registration page which was in German!!!

Thats the right page. Look to the upper right of the German language page, there is a drop down box to change the language. I used that link yesterday and it was fine.

I had problems as well. I actually signed up using the English version, but when I went to try and status match, I kept getting an error message.
I finally worked out that the first link from the OP, takes you to an online newsletter with this link, that actually worked:

Finally worked and confirmation was almost instant.

It means you have already applied and the new status has been applied to your account. Wait a few minutes and your Plat email will come through (presuming your email address is correct in your account at A|Club)

Worked for me only with the German version (my high school German is scratchy but passable), status confirmed on the web immediately, and by email about 2 minutes later.

Thanks to the OP - could be handy for my 2012 DONE4 early in the year. Now I have to decide whether to use my status matched DJ Platinum with HH or PC.

Decisions, decisions - they drive us procrastinators to distraction (not a long journey)

Thanks to the OP! When I signed up using the second link, it showed status as classic, so I used the first link and my status was instantly changed to platinum!
