Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I was overseas for 10 weeks, been back for one, and checked the FB app a few times whilst over there. I have received zero offers in the last 7 weeks. Very odd. Its like they noticed I was overseas and stopped the offers entirely or something.

Just did a small shop yesterday and today I have one targeted offer again

Better intel than ASIO

Spend $290 per week for 4 weeks for 10K pts or $340 per week for 4 weeks for 20K pts...what are the people or computers at Flybuys smoking?!
And I thought my $130 or $180 per week were bad 🤣

I had a 4x $50 for 10,000 point offer a month or so ago which I managed. I have now got an identical one. Surprising the $ didn't go up.
Yes, I find that FB promos tends to be the same / similar over and over (points or cash discount). EDR offers are all over the shop - pun intended.

Same for me. I received this offer only a few weeks ago and completed it and it has popped up again, unchanged, on Friday. So I activated it.

But when I look in my Flybuys account now it is not there. And when I try to activate it again it says that there is a "glitch in activating the offer". Strange. maybe I have been "unoffered"??

I did my first shop on Sunday and the receipt confirmed I had completed week one.

I’m new to FB as Woolies has always been our main shop but where do you guys get these ‘spend $ over x weeks’ offers. Is it just in the app under offers? All I see there are 2x 5x points offers etc…

If you have received a 4 week offer it will show under the same offer tab as the usual 5x offers

They are individually targeted offers based on your spending habits and you will receive an email which needs to be activated.

Ditto for me , but interestingly, there is no completed second week mentioned on the receipt this week.

I have had this happen multiple times. Just complete the offer each week regardless and if the points don’t come through email them. Take a screenshot of the offer to send. Have never had an issue getting the bonus points.

Some call it a near-scam others just details..

With the spend $X0 /week for 4 weeks - the first 'week' covers 2 weekends...

So your Wk 2 spend is this coming weekend - have a look at the original email for the Week 1 period. I wish I could pay for a week's accomodation and get ten days worth.

Absolutely Agree, all very clever and after week one the offer no longer appears on the App; need to track the spend timing yourself. Week 2 is Monday 28/8 till Sunday 3/9

The offer pops back up on the app by the Tuesday or Wednesday if you have met the previous week’s spend.
This isn't my experience. It has always annoyed me because once I missed qualifying for week two (a misunderstanding) and didn't find out until my points weren't credited after going out of my way to meet the qualifying spend in weeks three and four. Since then I've always been overly cautious to ensure I check my receipts for the confirmation that the shop in a particular week qualified. When I spoke to the Flybuys staff member about this in trying to determine what went wrong that one time, she explained it doesn't continue to show in the app in future weeks.

I signed my wife up to flybys and there was a 40x points promo on her first online order. So I did a huge shop ($450 ish) where I stocked up on some long life things and dishwashing tablets and razor blades etc. Pretty good! Points landed some weeks later, nearly 18,000 points. Might need to sign up my toddler son too 😅

Obviously can’t comment on other people’s experience but has always done as described on all NoName family member accounts except a few times when for whatever reason some issue caused the account not to register the qualifying spend as being met. In those cases nothing came up the following week.

Nevertheless, I have always been able to have the bonus points manually credited at the end of the promo period by sending an email with clear details of the offer (screen grab of week 1) and spend (amount, dates, store) which inevitably matched the transaction lines in the flybuys account and they are able to view the receipts themselves with this information to confirm. On each occasion that the “congratulation you have completed week blah blah blah” message has been missing from the receipt I have just proceeded completing the future week spend and then contacted them.
