Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I keep getting spend $50 to get 1000 bonus points. They pop up twice a week for periods Wed-Fri and Sat-Tue. Today will be the second week of them.

It’s a new account. How can I train it to get better offers? (Like the 4 week ones for 10k points). Should I only activate one of them and spend only $50 a week? Or ignore completely / not swipe my card for a while?

Activate but spend $6 only once a week.

Liquorland offer. 1000 points for buying a 6-pack of the Tinnies range. The image in the offer indicates that its the whole range.

However, the IPA is only sold in a 4-pack (not sure about the rest of the range).

@flybuys can you confirm that 4 packs are included in this offer?

I just got this offer:
——-
Collect 4,800 BONUS POINTS when you spend $120 in one shop at Coles!

Offer valid in store or online for orders placed and delivered or collected between Wed 23 Jun and Fri 25 Jun 2021.

Haven't had this type of offer for long time. Hate it, not clear how many points I'll earn, maybe it's good value at x10, but don't like the uncertainty. more points on some items as listed, but none on other products, but probably average out somewhere in mediocrity land.
Not for me.

Thanks for your feedback. You are correct that the IPA (and Hot Craft Bun Ale) are not available in 6-packs, but are available in 4-packs. To fix this, we will organise for bonus points to be retrospectively credited to members who activated, shopped at Coles and bought either of those products in a 4-pack during the campaign dates. Our apologies for this oversight.

Excellent stuff. Thanks for the quick reply and resolution.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

For the weekend, I had:
* 4,400 bonus points when you spend $110
* 500 bonus points booster (the standard oscillating weekly 500 or 3x)
* 175 bonus points on butter
* 150 bonus points on Campbells soups (also on special)
* 10x bonus on fresh produce and nuts (cashews on special)

Total of 5450 bonus points on my order.

It's almost as though they know I shopped at Woolies last week!

Not an offer but just a FYI.

We sold one of our cars on June 12th, cancelled our Coles Insurance policy on June 14th, refund credited on June 16th. I was expecting that I would continue to receive the bonus FB points for having a Coles Insurance policy for maybe a month or two but it appears that FB are already on my case.

Yesterday June 28th I received an email from Flybuys - Don't miss out on extra Flybuys points! Simply take out a Coles Comprehensive Car, Home or Landlord Insurance policy and link your Flybuys card to it.

I will know for sure in a few days.

I was in the reverse situation. Did lots of Coles shopping for a while because of the generous offers. Then the WW offers starting coming and was just as generous!

WW doesn't love us anymore whilst C has been a little meaner.

This week's offer 2,000 points for single $60 spend.

Much prefer those 10,000 point / 4 week offers.

I just prefer whatever offer is equal to 20%+ return.
If it's a 4 weeker or 1 off, just like to maximise the return, valuewise.

I avoid the upselling (where they increase the hurdle spend).
yeah & that's a hurdle that I've jumped over too many times as now I have to spend $150 for 6000 points.
It's 20% return, but like to have the spend target a little lower, back to Aldi in the meantime.

At Coles:
Spend $60 get 500pts
OR
Spend $90 get 1,500pts

Neither appeals. However not as bad as I was expecting given this is the account that earned thousands of points on the Coles gift mastercards the other week. Perhaps it will take longer for the massive spend targets to kick in?
