Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

For the multi week promotions, is there supposed to be any signal that you met previous week targets?

Mine did not change at all once I did the week 1 shop (both Coles & LL) and then in the case of Coles, the offer has now disappeared after week 1. Base points credited. What is going on? This is so poor compared to Woolworths Rewards - never had an issue with something not crediting with them.

I'm still also missing a 1500 LL offer including the base points for that shop from before Christmas. Not Happy Flybuys!

The 4 week promotions generally have 'congratulations' on the docket when you make the qualifying spend. The two week ones less so.

As the offer probably talked about last weeks dates, they typically disappear from your list of offers. It generally reappears on Wednesday with the new weeks dates listed.

Probbaly just an older system compared to Woolworths.

See my post from a few days ago. I think Flybuys is having some system issues on random dates. I called yesterday to complain about missing points. Called at 9.30am. Still had a 20 min hold time (despite IVR telling me the wait time was 8 minutes).

I'm still missing the 500 points for 10L of fuel at Coles Express.

They seem to have made some changes to their system. Some things are working better, but some of the bonus offerings seem to just disappear.

Yes, you were right, the offer re-appeared today. I also received an email today showing my progress of this offer and that I had completed week one.

All accounts received 6000 points for 3 week spend offers:
  • $30
  • $50
  • $60
  • $70
  • $120
  • $150
I think a $30 + $50 to get 12k points is worth pursuing.

One account got: Spend $30 in one shop at Coles for 1,800pts.

Another got: Spend $80 in one shop at Coles for 4,800pts.

Both will be a yes.

2k points targets for us - $110 for me, $50 for mrs excel. Mrs Excel is also in the middle of a 3 week 1k/2k/3k for i think $60, and a coles online 3k for first $100+ delivery, so there might be a few nice stacks there.

Coles: $30 for 1200pts. Normally a yes - but the quality & range of F&V isn't as good as WW... so... dunno this week.

Coles: 2000 points for $50 spend
Liquorland: 1500 points for $30 spend (must include a Coles shop)

Check your deal (1500 Liquorland) - I've taken advantage of this a few times, but on the offers I've received this week, the $30 has to be on wine. That might still be OK for you, but if not, I'd check first. I've also noticed they changed it so you don't have to shop first at Coles and then at Liquorland. Whilst I was never caught out, I can imagine a few a bit peeved to not understand the order and denied the bonus points.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Also have a few First Choice Liquor stacks:
  1. Everybody is entitled to 2000 points for $50 spend until Sunday.
  2. I have two accounts that have 2 week offers. One is spend $80 for 2 weeks for 8000 FB points and the other is $50 for 2 weeks, also for 8000 FB points. (first week ends Sunday)
  3. A number (but not all) of accounts have been sent offers of spend $100 for 2000 FB points - the 2 accounts mentioned above have.
So, the plan is to spend exactly $100 on those two accounts this week, however waiting for a lucrative Cashrewards/Shopback referral. CR has a 7% at FCL (15% they had last week), so I will wait on what SB offer - they generally offer something each week, and a number of times 20%.

Therefore, by my calcs, if a $100 spend is made on each account, then 8100 FB points would be made on each account (factoring in 1/2 the 2 week offer bonus). And if 20% SB comes up, that is around $36 once GST is taken into account for both accounts.

Turns a $200 spend into a $83 spend and an attack on the liver. May or may not be in front!!! :)

Yes, it is wine only. 👍

Finished a 3 week $60 spend for 1000 + 2000 + 3000 last week.
Followed up with a $70 for 2000 this week.
Now offered a 4x $50 for 10,000.

Recieved the below 4 week offers. Account 6 below however also had $180 for 20000 points. I thought that unusual, although Account 3, 4 and 5 has $180 spend to get 30000 points.

It will be Account 5 only in this household and picking up the 3 day offers in conjuntion.
