Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

2,000 bonus points for $110 spend between Wednesday and Friday.

Looks like some staff from Woolworths have moved across to Flybuys. How am I going to achieve $110 when I struggle to achieve $60 each week? It would appear they have increased the spend target as I have purchased some Jetstar and Virgin gift vouchers the past week,

From previous observations, gift card spend will increase your targets for general grocery spend. It takes a month or so for targets to reset to their old levels, provided you don't take up the higher target offers.
 
Im going to try this because at some point I was getting stupid offers like $300 spends for bonus points.

I noticed since we came back from holidays, its crept up from $60 spend to $150 spend in less than 3 weeks of being home.

I won't make the targetted spend but I'll continue to buy gift cards as I book a lot of flights and would like to save the credit card fee.

Silly model as gift card spend is excluded from targetted offers.

Has happened to our accounts every time (bak in the good old days..).

When purchased 5 figures of pre-paid MCs the spend amount only increased to 3 digits. No use of that card for ten months subsequently.

I call up and email etc etc pointing that out.

If enough people do then perhaps they might update their system?
