Good point. From what I understand, they only do the Price Promise AFTER you've purchased a flight from Qantas and you find a cheaper one within a given time.

I've booked business fares with flight centre. It got points. If you ask them to email you the sample itinerary for review it should have the booking class and the qf pnr to add your qff no all before you paid. That's my experience anyway.

The sample itinerary they've sent says nothing about booking class, just "BUSINESS." Also "This fare is not upgradeable with points." Even though the full priced far on the invoice is the same as Qantas's, I just want to be sure. I'm not sure my FC agent understands when I ask for a letter for the booking class.

So the total price that FC quotes you = the total price from QF? Why not just book direct with QF then?

That's before they apply the discount to Price Beat it. So I save about $300.

Ok... finally got her to include the booking class on the invoice. It's 'I'. We're safe. Thanks for your help, everyone.
