Flight Path Info - Wrong

Hi,
yesterday - coming back from AKL to SYD I noticed that the inflight display of the flightpath was wrong. Approx 20min before landing it showed a time-to-destination of 1.30hr and the red-line on the world map showed the wrong path as well. The other flight info (altitude, speed etc) seemed correct. I have noticed these errors on other flights as well and was wondering where this information is coming from? Certainly not from the autopilot (I hope ).

AFAIK, information such as origin, destination, est arrival time are manually input by the flight crew.

Sometimes, they forget to change from the previous segment or simply input incorrect data.
