Flight Credits Class Action

I think everyone should register to reinforce the message that plenty of people were affected.
I was incensed when they cancelled a flight to NZ they had no intention of flying and again with the replacement offered.
What made it worse was they only offered a flight credit with no bonus and you had to ring to get the refund.
I did ring but it was several 2 hour waits on hold.
Only redeeming factor is I got the double status credit vouchers which I eventually used 😀
50 or 150 barely compensates for the annoyance !

Sorry if this has been answered up thread. I only just looked at an old e-mail address and there was the Echo Law e-mail.

I registered and it lists 2 'initial' flights. I searched my bookings (under that old e-mail address) for those 2 flights and in one case, the flight was months later and the other, it was a day later than the notice says. I don't want to go forward unless I'm sure I'm entitled.

What have people done in similar circumstances? Can you phone them? Number? (Clicking on 'contact us' brings up a blank page   )

Edit - and where was your password to login? I got in via a login link.

Qantas supplied the contact information.

If you go forward, Echo and Qantas will determine your eligibility on a case/flight by case/flight basis.

This is from the email/FAQs.

I could see no harm in going forward.myself.

If you email @RooFlyer , as I needed to do, due to it coming up as "existing" contact ie Mr Flyfrequently and I share the same email, auto response comes back " we are receiving a large volume of enquiries".

This is the bit that I'm not wild about, notwithstanding they say they'll check. Not certain that I paid for the particular flights they've listed (HBA-MEL ... did multiples of both flight numbers they list). Think I'll call.
