PLEASE INCLUDE DATE, FLIGHT NUMBER, ORIGIN & DESTINATION IN ALL REQUESTS
>>>> ADDED BY ADMIN (6 Sept 2010) <<<<

Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions about seat availability on specific flights. These are all valid questions and we all appreciate the efforts our members go to to provide answers.

The only drawback is that our forums can become "cluttered" with specific questions about availability on specific flights. This tends to reduce the overall usability of our site.
We have therefore created this new consolidated thread where you can ask questions about seat availability on specific flights. Hopefully, this will reduce clutter and improve useability.

Guidelines for posting in this thread
Please post questions about availability of specific flights or upgrade probability in this new consolidated thread. Be sure to include the airline, flight number, date, origin and destination and any other relevant detail.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

Thanks!

See this thread for hints on how to read loadings:

If looking for, say Qantas points upgrades, look for A class for First, mid to high D or any I class for Business and any R for Premium Economy.

Look for the most expensive category of the cabin YOU are currently booked in as being sold out e.g. J0 to first, W0 to Business & Y0 to PE for increased op-up chances. Also, look for availability on the discount premium buckets (A, P, I, D, U, T & Z inventories).

Conversely, look for high numbers in the discount economy buckets (N, O, Q, E & X inventories) for reduced op-up chances.

Seat maps can be a VERY rough guide but note that just because a seat is not showing as allocated does not mean that seat hasn't been sold. Not everyone pre-selects seats.

Original thread title: update on QF93 on 12 sept

Appreciate it if someone could check EP for loadings.

Hi all - I'm hoping someone with an EF account can provide the seat map for QR137 (DOH-BCN) on 15.08.2021
I am trying to determine if this is a QSuites route

Can't search that far out yet. One more day...

Also note, you can look at seat maps with a free EF account. I'd also expect a flight search on QR would tell you if it's Q-Suites or not. Finally, I'd be pretty surprised if the aircraft scheduled today for that sector is the one that actually flies it.

On the flight selection page on QR's site it gives a picture of the seat currently scheduled for that flight... so the A350 is showing reverse herringbone, matching EF.

Trying to decide which flight is fuller and therefore safer to book as a few BNE CNS BNE flights are getting cancelled and people are getting squeezed onto other flights that day.

3 October BNE to CNS. Can you please let me know the loadings for QF 1712 dep Bne at 10.20 (this is QantasLInk) and QF 712 dep Bne at 11.10

Thanks and BTW so good to be asking this question and grateful to have the opportunity to get a way a bit.

Yes both quite empty. 1712 is at face value a little bit fuller in J but it is a 717. In this crazy mixed up world I’m not sure which would be more likely to be cancelled. Personally I’d go 712 as a 737 over the 717. Envious of your trip. I hope the weather is good and you have a great time.

Upgraded on the way back tomorrow too. Waste of points (5k) with the current offering but it’s not like I’m spending my points on anything else. That hearty beef stew and mash makes it all worth while 🤔

Business seat map shows 11 blocked, 2 allocated and 15 empty seats. U class is showing as 0 though.

does it means i do not stand a chance?

The fare bucket availability is J9 C9 D9 I9 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N9 Q9 O0 X0 E0

I'd say your chances of getting an upgrade are pretty good (I'd give it a 90% chance), although it won't be confirmed instantly because of the lack of U availability.

Hi

qf446 for tomorrow Melbourne to Sydney

how likely to get an upgrade for tomorrow ?

Assuming you mean QF446, departing at 4pm (there is no QF466 tomorrow): Business class is currently full, so pretty much zero chance, sorry.

How did you go on Monday, by the way?

A friendly reminder to please give the origin and destination. They are needed to search for availability.
