I received the following email at 7.09pm today - am SG with annual flights to Hong Kong, and I have just re-qualified this month. Not sure whether this is targeted or not...

Super bonus on Super Saver fares: 100% more Status credits

Plus 4,500 bonus Qantas Points return

Book and travel on any Super Saver˜ or Flexi Saver˜ fare on eligible return Economy flights* between Australia and Hong Kong to receive 4,500 more Qantas Points than you would usually earn[SUP]#[/SUP].

Hong Kong - where East meets West

Qantas operates 21[SUP]†[/SUP] flights each week between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Hong Kong and is the only airline to offer the award-winning A380 aircraft 4 times a week direct from Sydney, with connections from around Australia. So, let Qantas take you to Hong Kong - where East meets West.

I received it too. Bronze with no flights booked, but I did visit HKG last month.

Got a similar one, but for Flexi fares to NZ.

Am NB and have never been to NZ.

I received it as well, platinum and have never been to HKG. So who knows :)

Offer received here as well, but to NZ

"For a limited time, when you book and travel on a Flex˜ fare, we're rewarding you with twice as many Status credits[SUP]#[/SUP] as you would usually earn between Australia and New Zealand. That's a minimum of 40 Status credits each way, instead of the usual 20 Status credits. Book and travel on a Flex fare on eligible return Economy flights* between Australia and New Zealand to receive 2,000 more Qantas Points than you would usually earn[SUP]#[/SUP]."

Dad - Flexible fares to HKG offer
Brother - Flexible fares to HKG offer
Mum - Flexible fares to New Zealand offer

All 3 have never had a Qantas flight, or any flight, credited to their accounts....

It's not (entirely) based on nil crediting history. Read your post and checked the accounts of some of my family members in the same situation, and no offer.

Nor did I get one for that matter, despite having flights to HKG (and SIN) booked. Ho-hum :(

Checked some random dates between now and end Jan (MrsTheEmu is coming for her Annual NKG Nest Inspection with 1 x EmuOffspring in tow) and it looks like there are Sale seats still available throughout.
Can prolly think of easier/cheaper ways to get 60 SC (or 4500FFP if you really need half the points required for SYD-MEL OW in Y...) for the difference between the Sale and S/F Saver fares on the dates that I looked at.
YMMV
Edit: No QF emails with these offers in the inbox btw

Got NZ offer.

Never in my life ever flown a flexible economy ticket to NZ.
Only Biz (80%) and the occasional sale super cheap econ.

Not very targeted...

QFF would make a ****ing fortune if they used the data they had on members to their advantage. Hit me up QFF - I'll help you make some real cash!

I've done MEL-HKG return twice since June and SYD-HKG once.

I do remember getting the HKG DSC offer a bit after I did the leg on CX though.

Gold, PER based, NZ offer, never been in my life. Can't see it being worth it.

Got the HKG offer and checked prices. For about the same as a Flexi saver from BNE I could book a PE via SYD.

Yes, not as flexible but far more comfortable, more SC and the benefit of the F Lounge.

Won't be taking up the kind offer QF.

I know there are other criteria.

Just interesting that 3 family members received and I didn't. Not that I would take it up by the way. I looked at the flexi saver airfares and they were ~AUD250 more each way over the sale fares. No thanks.
