Flash flybuys to velocity bonus

Hi,

there’s a 7 day 15% flybuy bonus from today (18-25/2).
I transfer 138000. And got them immediately in my Velocity account. And also got another 20% again? Not sure why but not complaining!

Thanks for the heads up! I also got 15% bonus and another 20% bonus on top of that!

Hopefully they don't take the extra 20% back...!

Was it your first ever transfer from flybuys to velocity? That would explain the additional bonus if it was.

That would make sense. I got a new account when I signed up for the Coles MasterCard

I don’t think it’s targeted, I didn’t get an email or anything about the 20%. People on A different forum are talking about it and some people got an email saying 20% some 15% and somedidn’t receive any email but still got both the bonuses

I would think it's a mistake. I think in the past they have sometimes added additional bonus towards the end of these promos e.g. 15% becomes 18%. Perhaps they intended to do that but loaded them concurrently. Like yourself, I also have the Coles MC...but don't imagine that's relevant?

Just checked the mail , my wife got an email talking about the 20% bonus on transfer from flybuys to velocity.

It works out to an extra 12k velocity points if you transfer the max.

I suspect 20% offer is only for velocity red members and for all others it is 15%.

I took the risk with 2000 Flybuys and yep, got the 15% + 20% so then transferred the rest

The initial 2000 transfer was instant to my Velocity account.

Its been 10mins now and Im not seeing the 2nd transfer come through to Velocity.

Edit: additonal points from 2nd transfer now in Velocity - I was getting worried

Awesome promotion! I think the best I have gotten with Flybuys in the past is 22%, but I had to spend $10 with 3 Coles retailers.

This is the best promotion they have ever had. This is a better than the new transfer rate with Woolworths Rewards/Qantas.
