First F Redemption on EK using QF points

New 777 F suite does look very nice. If only the QF site worked as well as say SQ, or all others.

Any thought to try for the EK new 77W F suites out of gee.. AMS? Wherever they fly it to (I keep forgetting)? Probably even harder to get avail on that, but that looks like another level up hardware wise.

(one could do AA/BA across from JFK)
Good point. According to several pieces I’ve read HAM-DXB on EK60 has the new F suites. If this is still correct there appears to be decent availability right up to May 2020.

As you can see the last date with F is 02/04.

Great Awards Table. Is this from EF? If so, can someone please guide me as I can only seem to get +/- 3 days

This isn't from EF or any website that you can access ;)

Friend just reported great pleasure of first F flight ever, on A380 DXB - ATH. After a 777 HKG-DXB.

Thanks @madrooster for the info. In a few days when my pref date comes up I will book a place saver on CX F.
Am I correct, that the EK 777 has slightly larger suites (and no shower nor bar), but otherwise is the same as the A380?

I wish there was a top rated enclosed F suite in one sector NY - HKG.
We did the 777 and the 380 in F in September and I really liked the 777. The showers are nice and fun to experience, but the smaller cabin and the more personal service was great in the 777.

I flew HND-DXB in the new 777 suites (middle suite with the virtual windows) in April, and that was easily the best hard product I've experienced. Shambolic ground service and a missed connection then ensured that I was left with a bad overall impression, though.

Another flight scheduled for August, hopefully that trip will go more smoothly.

FM, which route were you on? I'm looking for JFK (xx_ xx_ CBR). I'd prefer the 777.

We did Syd-dxb-NBO. One of the Syd-DXB flights was changed from a 380 to a 777 and initially I was a bit miffed, but I really enjoyed it.

EK417 out of Sydney still seems to be a 777 edit - none of which probably helps with the route you want!

Just looked a few dates EWR - HKG and there is availability ~ 5 weeks from my desired dates.
The EK price is very much higher than say CX F. I know it's not nearly as good though, but ...

Is JFK a deal breaker or can you leave from EWR?
