Seems when you use the slider all the way to the left it's more than just taxes you're paying with this particular JASA.
Same fare booked as a classic was $395.92 in taxes.

The term is FASA ( the first letter refers to the class of travel)

356k points is very poor value for that FASA. I. Wouldn't be touching it even with copay.

"If you choose to pay an amount by credit or charge card, the minimum points needed for this itinerary start from 144,000 per passenger."

It may or may not be good value. Rooboy68 is best able to judge that for himself, knowing his own circumstances. However he HAS found the cheapest FASA, points wise, that anyone's going to get under current requirements for that route. Plus he'll get 22,464 points and 270 status credits.
And to the OP, I'm not sure that QFF has ever represented the amount produced when moving the slider all the way to the left as taxes and charges. It's just a price they are willing to offer you.

I found a FASA in August for 2. The cost was more than the OP as full left slider required a co-pay of about $4000. Definitely classic award territory.

I view the copay as the amount the qantas are prepared to accept for you to not use the points.
