First/Business Lounge Access - Doha

My wife and I are flying PER-DOH-BRU next month (April). We have about a four hour transit in Doha.

PER-DOH is in F
DOH-BRU is in J

Anyone know if we would get access to the Al Safwa First Lounge or because we are flying out in J would we only be eligible for the Al Mourjan Business Lounge?

Any advice or tips appreciated!

I've no first had experience, but this is from FT:

"Can I use the Qatar Airways Al Safwa Lounge?

Access is based on your underlying fare bucket. This means that no upgraded tickets, are granted access.

Access is thus restricted to Qatar Airways First Class, and OneWorld First Class passengers :
- either holding a First Class boarding pass* for their next flight
- or holding a First Class boarding pass* from their previous flight, provided the flight time was over 5 hours. That specifically means flights on an A380.
- Guests are not permitted.
* Operational Upgrades / QCredit upgrades to First do not give access".

Unless you have upgraded with Qatar points and I cannot provide advice on that front as I do not belong to the QR loyalty program. As you flight is not for another month I would suspect your are not on an optional upgrade.

Based on our experience from a couple of years back, provided your PER-DOH is in F either paid or via OW rewards you should get access to get into the Al Safwa First Lounge as your inbound F flight is greater than 5 hours. We all got in flying SYD-DOH-BOS. The SYD-DOH sector was in F with x1 revenue and x2 OW rewards flights.

In Feb this year I travelled PER-DOH F then DOH - BHX J (because no F on this flight) access to Al Safwa no problems....I have done this on 3 occasions....Does your 2nd leg have F ? if not should be good to enter...

Second leg DOH-BRU tops out at J (B777) so I will give it a go. My wife took a look at the Al Safwa online so she will be impressed
