I’d be interested to hear if the bulkhead seats stick and whether or not you get moved!

They stuck for me. I booked the bulkhead window seats last year to fly in April/May this year and although it always said unconfirmed (or some such) they did stick. I'd be interested to know if someone books them and then gets bumped. IIRC, all window seats were the same fee status, so I'm not convinced it's the bulkhead which attracts the fee.

Our flights are 12-13 May, 2026. I guess that gives them plenty of time to move us if they are so inclined, but 2A and 2L are still showing as 'confirmed' on our booking today, 23 days after booking.

Our experience late April on QF award flights is that preselected seats 2A and 3A did stick on AY132. Have preselected same seats for upcoming return QF award flight AY131 .

Confusing that apparently not even Finnair’s FF members get the bulkheads for free unless platinum. But happy that it is the way it is!
