Hi all

Is Expert Flyer the only reliable way to check availability of seats in different classes?

Seat Counter seems very unreliable or it's just been down for the last several days.

I can't really justify an ongoing paid subscription to Expert Flyer for the occasional check of what may be available for an upgrade.

Are there any other free sites for the occasional user?

Cheers

It looks as if Seatcounter, along with most (all?) of the other free availability sites, stopped working last Sunday as a result of changes to the ITN booking system which they used. Some of the access methods in the KVS package also stopped working for the same reason. Right now, Expertflyer and KVS appear to be the only available means of checking availability information.

Thanks - that explains my difficulty in getting it to work.

I tried Amadeus which seemed to work, but for some strange reason it puts the day after the one nominated at the top of each flight it lists (yet it's really referring to the nominated date as it shows the correct aircraft type for those that don't run daily).

Does anyway know why that is:confused:
