Forgot to mention, OGT is now in storage at Alice Springs and OGM is at the hangers in Sydney minus its Qantas logo and titles.

OGL is still parked outside near the Ponds in SYD looking very lonely.

Having a beer with the boys last night, and it would seem that the pilot with the greatest number of hours on the aircraft had over 16,000 and had been on them for their entire time in QF service. There was another bloke who was also there for the full period, but he decided to retire...
 
Red Roo, when are QF going to release any footage from the day (particularly over Sydney)? People have been on holidays but it is nearly two weeks ago.
 
Its on Youtube done by the YMML plane spotters group, even the SYD airport FB "shower".
But on here, yea, have to wait.
Red Roo, also pass on to the "correct area" that the flexibility of the QP staff, to "help" a helpless person like me, is a very very good thing.
After all my pre planning, the first flight, as you would probably know, the first flight on that day I wanted it, to leave SYDd at 6am, got substituted to a 737. This was a 6am departure from SYD.
There was a 7am 767 on that day though, the Tue/Wed before the 27 Dec.
The QF girls by checkin couldn't change, they said I had to contact QFLoyalty.
But as mentioned on here, asking the Q"P" girl, she was able to put me onto the 7am 767 flight.
I didn't get her name though.
 
It must be getting crowded at Alice, VH-OGU left BNE for the last time this morning for Alice Springs.
I think VH-OGM left SYD for ASP earlier in the week also.

OGU left BNE not long after 06:00 local time today ...... Signage / logos gone.
