Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Beautiful photo's! What camera and lens were you using for these?
Glad you like them.

The Lake Tekapo photo was taken with a Canon 20D, and the Positano shot was taken with a Canon 5D mkII - both with the same Canon 17-40f4L lens.

I'm a bit of a keen photographer, which my wife thankfully tolerates when we travel :)

Great photos - this is such a great thread :)

One more from me - a bit cheesy, but another favourite from our most recent trip.
Good times :D

Brilliant pics here, thanks for posting...adds to the list of places I want to go. :)

I'm strictly point-and-shoot, but here's a couple I like, for different reasons.

View from my hotel balcony in Fira, Santorini. No great photo, but a great view!

Glenorchy, at the Northern end of Lake Wakatipu, near Queenstown NZ. A bit atmospheric.

Ok approval granted. here is my favourite travel photo. Taken at Karlsruhe of my children, 6 and 3 at the time. We had just flown ADL-SYD-FRA and the trained it to Karlsruhe on the way to Paris. the flight was delayed for 6 hours in SIN while the enigneers got in and unblocked the toilets. Fortunately, we had lounge access and the girls had a bit of a sleep on the chairs in there. Of course we missed our train to Paris and had to take the next available, which giots us into Paris 8 hours late and with a stop in Karlsruhe. This was there first chance to have an outside chance to not be traveling. The fact that their are sitting there taking it all in after all the hassle is symbolic of what travel is all about - a way to experience new things.

Nice shot :)
For those heading over to ZQN soon:

Will you be heading over this year? Or have you already been/there right now?

I've been following several Facebook pages and the best shots I've seen have been from TC with their 2m base! Although there was a particularly good shot of The Remarkables the other day with a massive drift of snow halfway up a lift tower.

Just got back yesterday.
Pick of the snow was easily Coronet, Remarks still a bit patchy, night skiing started this weekend. TC and Cardrona only opened recently, Crown Road closed/ chains for most of last week.
Enjoy !!

I won't be there till late-August at this stage, so hopefully things will have improved even more by then. I don't think I added any of my photos to this thread yet, so in light on ZQN, here's a few…

One of my favourites - sunset overlooking the vineyard at Samuel's Gorge in McLaren Vale (referred to in the Wine of choice thread). Apologies for the poor quality - it was taken with a 2MP Nokia phone!

Man, I hate Keas. I was waiting to drive through the Homer Tunnel to Milford Sound once and this fellow landed on my car. Seconds later he showed me exactly what he thought by depositing half his body weight all over the top of the car. Nice!
