Fares incorrect

the critical word is 'from'. The fuel example omits the word 'from'. Qantas does not.

No, using my example, the sign would say "Fuel from $1.10/litre year round". The Qantas graph shows the base price (the 'from' price') as being available for particular intervals, like my postulated fuel sign.

But here's the solution to all of this. Qantas advertises fares on this route "From $1,159 year round." That's what you are saying, I think ... 'from' is the lowest price in the period, but not available all the time. So why don't they do this - it sounds a lot better and would be more accurate. They don't because they only have that sale price for discrete periods. They separate out and show graphically those periods where its not available. What limewood and I are saying is that they should separate out all the periods its not available, not just some, and update if needs be.

It would seem that the technology that the previous posters would like to see implemented is routinely available on the Jetstar website.

And while I think the statement by QF was correct on the day the announcement was made, as fare buckets are consumed, it would seem to be misleading to NOT UPDATE the graph.

Time for someone to wave a flag for RedRoo I think.

Happy wandering

I noticed the same thing with an email re: SIN fares from $649. The cheapest on the website using the click though link showed in excess of $750. And that was on the day I received the email.
