Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Wrong brand Lindsay! I had Dennis Lillee and Nathan Sharpe on mine. They might need Propecia or Rogaine if they want their hair back but they are still recognizable!

I wouldn't have recognised her but one of my travelling companions advised me he saw Jessica Mauboy in the PER QP this morning.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendez on an AA flight JFK to LAX, the Veronicas on an SYD-ADL flight and in the business lounge beforehand. Those girls were tiny.

Saw Tom Waterhouse and family (partner, baby and what I thought was the nanny/MIL - but my colleague thinks was Gai) at the AA FC in LAX on May 17th. His head was buried in his laptop. Then again on Monday May 20th at the LAX TBIT OW FC (no family this time). He managed to navigate his way all they way on to the plane holding laptop with one hand and typing with the other. He turned left and I went right at the door but suspect the laptop stayed open until the last possible moment......

What are the odds of meeting him again in LAX :)

4 of us in the J cabin.

Just the nicest guy, was up for quite a chat, he is in NZ for 6 weeks filming.

Totally awesome, every bit a top bloke.
I doubt you could meet a more genuine Guy.

That was unquestionably the best flight I have ever been on.

It even beats the CX flight in the 90s when I had a snooze up in the tail.

Like yourself Lindsay, I was pleased to meet Captain de Crespigny last year on QF1, when he did his usual walkaround the aircraft. I stopped him and chatted with him for a couple of minutes, basically thanking him for writing such a fascinating book. He's a thorough gentleman, and clearly a skilled pilot.

Kitty Flanagan in Brisbane Lounge. Shes just as hot in the flesh as she is on television.

Thanks... I just watched The Hobbit on our recent trip to RAR. However I prefer his role in "Love Actually". His role in that movie.... Now that's what I want to do for a living. :)

Here's the most tenuous sighting nomination...

On the Tarmac at MIA yesterday was a QF 707 looking fairly bright and shiny.

Assume Mr Travolta isn't far away!

Spotted SRB ahead of me in the BNE priority screening queue a couple of weeks ago... seems that even the owner of an airline doesn't know to remove their phone before passing through the metal detector....... ;)
