Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Looks like there is a little party in one corner of the SYD T3 J lounge for the fan club of Ellen. They've roped off a corner and a heap of chattering young women just went in. I assume the eponymous star will be along soon.

Saw Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster at the Qantas Gate just before Christmas; special thing was they were flying away to secretly get married. They were sitting in 1A/1B of course.

MH122 on 20/3 in J. originally given 1J, but asked to be moved to sit next to KLN Junior who suffers from travel sickness. they moved med me without any probs, biut realised that when we boarded i was originally scheduled to sit next to Sir Jackie Stewart. bummer, as afar as i am concerned the only reason to go to KL is for the F1 anyway, so to be in row 1 with him was magic anyway. didn't do the whole autograph and photo thing either,c decided it was much cooler to let him be.

According to my 10 year......Jake & Elle (MKR fame) checking in this morning BNE.

Looked like they were having a little disagreement:shock:

Starting our list for today:

Darren Lockyer in BNE JLounge and then in 1A. Finally (insert Christian name) Fraser [the former State Treasurer] (back in Y)

March 9, LAX baggage carousel- Liz Hayes and the 60 minutes crew, connecting through to Denver. They flew J. Each had about 7 suitcases plus carry on. The camera man apparently packs clothes last.

Well. I think I will be seeing both, Lindsay Wilson AND Markis10, on a flight today.

How much better could it get????

Saw Senator Bob Carr in the BA Terraces lounge at JFK on Tuesday. He sat alone in the far corner reading his documents which his minders kept bringing him. Was surprised that he wasn't in some higher class lounge. He flew QF108 up to LAX and presumably all the way to SYD. His group boarded early.

About five years ago in the UA RCC at LAX I was working on my laptop when I noticed some hubhub near me and a flash going off. Muhammad Ali had arrived with his family some time earlier, as his wife had dozed off by then. Other pax had noticed him and started pestering him for a photo with them and he was happily obliging. Only his son was keeping an eye on him and when he noticed me watching, he gestured that it was OK for me to come over for a pose. I smiled back and politely declined. Clearly, they had come from afar and deserved some rest.

Saw something similar in the 90s at QC SYD when the boxer Kostya Tzu (sp?) was famous and people were posing with him.
