Fake QF page on Facebook

Just noticed friends liking a fake QF Facebook page offering First class tickets as prizes. Just reported it.

But look at the number of shares and comments - obviously some people think it's real and have been sucked in.

No-one checks or even thinks.... I have friends who continually share rubbish. None of them take two minutes to do a search on the net to discover it is a fake before sharing. I have got to the point where I put a comment every time one gets shared that is a hoax - fortunately I have a very small group of friends!

There are a couple of friends of mine that 'Like' these fake pages every time they come up, they never learn from the last time!

An unfortunate aspect of social media, I share your frustrations (and disappointment when I find my own friends and family sharing it! ).
