Probably not for us but for the UAE nationals that fly this product, I wouldn't be surprised. but we wouldn't ever know if it was an op-up or not.

I have this from very senior EY reps.

Photos are on EY's Facebook page. Their was a coughtail party at the Sydney Opera House to mark its arrival.

Will never happen. EY has made this known, rather the Butler will serve F pax and the cabin will fly empty.

Sure. I think one of either James Hogan or Peter Baumgartner may have even mentioned that there won't be any op-ups to The Residence but this is the Middle East and UAE. What Sheikhs want, Sheikhs get!

On EY you're more likely to be offered compensation for IDB.

Yes, all the lazy journalists copied the media release that promotes that it is daily, but it is not.

Have QF F to DXB to connect but just booked EY F on 787 from BNE to AUH instead of QF so I get to step up the EY F experience half way

Yes I have noticed this as well. Very bad form EY!
we earn the miles we should be at least in with a chance.

I managed to snag two F tickets on the 2nd May on Friday just passed.

A friend of mine flew back in the EY apartment to SYD last week, said it was an awesome experience.

His one word of advise was try and book the forward facing apartmnents (which I think is the odd numbers) as the rear facing apartments have a slight lean in the bed and one can feel like they could roll out of the bed! This was being discussed by a few passangers around the bar on the flight.

Anybody else able to confirm this?
