Just received this email:

Dear ExpertFlyer Subscriber:

On Wednesday September 6th starting at 6pm Eastern time ExpertFlyer.com will be unavailable for up to 3 hours for system maintenance and minor upgrades. During this time you will receive a maintenance message when you visit www.ExpertFlyer.com. When the normal home page returns, you may login and use ExpertFlyer again. We will also be sending out another email once the upgrade is complete outlining the changes. Thank you for your understanding while we work to improve our service.

Thank you,
The ExpertFlyer.com Team

Received an update from Expert Flyer:
Responding to your suggestions, and continuing to improve our service offering, we have made some subtle changes that you may notice at ExpertFlyer.com. These are the first steps towards some very significant improvements to take place in the months ahead and give us a framework to provide additional features.

Today, we have eliminated the occassional problem you may have faced from time to time where you received a message that you were "logged in elsewhere". This had occured when you closed your browser without logging out. This is now no longer an issue.

We have also made some minor style changes to the screens to make them more readable. Another improvement is the use of Tabs to show more than one class of service for a flight's seat map. This eliminates long scrolling screens and easy access to multiple seat maps for a flight. Also, you will note that entry screens requiring a date will automatically enter the current date based on your PC's time clock as the default entry. This will save some time when looking up information for today, such as upgrade availability. This of course can be changed by entering something different. We have also employed the use of Tabs in the My Account section to better organize your preferences and account information.
