I have done 2 flight availability searches for SIN-PER on the 24/10/08.

1 search was just SIN-PER 24/10/08 and I get this

QF 78
SIN 24/10/08 7:25 PM
PER 25/10/08 12:30 AM
333 Daily
70% / 64m J0 C0 D0 Y1 B1 H0 K0 M0 L0 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0

The other search was SIN-PER on QF 24/10/08 and I get this.

QF 78
SIN 24/10/08 7:25 PM
PER 25/10/08 12:30 AM
333 Unavailable
70% / 64m J9 C2 D0 I0 B1 H0 K0 M0 L0 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0 X0 E0

When I add "QF" I suddenly see J9 and I loose sight of Y.

Can anyone explain this?

Dunno, but Amex ITN gives

E/F uses a different GDS when asked to search for QF flights (only). This allows searches 353 days in advance rather than 330.

When utilising this more Qantas specific GDS, different information is returned. This could be due to several factors, among them, perceived location of the booking agent.

It seems that Qantas are making more J seats available for booking via the QF centric GDS than for the GDS E/F more commonly employs.
