Just noticed that the cash-back rewards shopping site CashRewards is offering a 4.2% cashback offer on most Accor properties when using their referral link. I also notice a 7% cashback offer when signing up for Accor+. Would be curious if anyone had any luck using this before and whether they received the usual Accor benefits of booking direct with Accor (albeit through the referral link)

I booked the Novotel Oasis Resort Cairns through the Cashrewards Accor link earlier this year and received my cashback after the stay and was able to use my Accor Plus dining benefits and get the Accor Plus pricing for the room.

Confirmed cashback works perfectly and full status points/nights/benefits were still provided.

Have used it a couple of times this year without issues. The cash is usually deposited a certain amount of time after the stay. I also post in the promotions thread when the cashback is upsized to 10%.
It certainly is a handy additional discount.

Used both Cashrewards and Shopback for Accor bookings in the past - sometimes they don't track properly and you need to chase them, make sure you disable Adblock plug-ins before use.

My experience is the same, they don't always track correctly, though I've found Shopback to be more reliable. Worth checking both as sometimes one or the other will have a special offer on, but if there's no offer then Cashrewards is usually best.

Just something else to be aware of is that there's some brands (Mantra, Peppers, Art Series) that don't participate, and some (Swissotel, Raffles, Fairmont) that are at a lower rate.

10% cb currently on Cashrewards.

Considering cancelling some upcoming flexible bookings and rebooking via the link (same price). Only concern was whether I’d still be eligible for the points/status points but it seems from the comments above that you do still get these when booking via rewards sites. Is that correct?

Most definitely you still earn Accor ALL stays / status points when using Cashrewards to ShopBack

booked fairmont singapore for stay over christmas, cashback tracked on cashrewards. Chased them up on Friday as was still pending. they advised Accor rejected it. didn't use any codes etc so have had to send them the invoice and booking reference to try and get it paid.

will update on success, but would be pretty disappointed if not paid give the cost of the room.

I’ve had mixed results using CR for Accor bookings. Sometimes did not track correctly sometimes didn’t track at all.

they have moved it back to pending while they chase Accor, will wait and see but from recollection CR guarantee cash back so should pay out regardless. i recall having some other amounts paid out even after the shop still rejected it after chasing.
