Just a quick question: If you get an exemption to leave, is the date you applied for exact, i.e. must you leave on that date? If not what is the date range you can leave within without having to apply for a new exemption? Thanks in advance.

Solution
For my last exemption granted on 19 Feb 2021 for "Travelling overseas for a compelling reason for at least three months" But did not use.
It may be different now or different for you.

Important: This travel exemption is valid until 19th May 2021. If you have not been able to depart on or before this
date you will need to submit a new travel exemption request.
This may assist:

Your travel exemption will not be affected by changes to your travel arrangements such as minor changes to your flight details or port of arrival or departure. However if you have an approval to depart from Australia you should check your notification as your exemption may have an expiry date - please refer to your approval notification email or check ‘Notifications’ in your travel exemptions portal account.
