Any idea what days traditionally have the heaviest loads out of LAX to Aus and vice versa?

Leaving Aus, Sunday has always been heavy in my opinion?

Any stats- insider comment?

Not exactly what you're looking for but here's a link to the Ex-Lax website:

I love Exlax! It works wonders! I was backed up for about a week which is very unusual for me, and I took four Exlax tablets at night and had four bowel movements. One was the same night, and three the next morning. I love it!

Sorry, I couldn't resist it when I saw the thread title.:oops:

Am I the only one giggling at the unfortunate topic title? :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :lol:

Seriously speaking, I have no stats - someone with KVS or Expert Flyer might be able to put something together. Or use FlightStats with a lot of trials.

Using a crude method, which is checking some prices on LAX-SYD on QF with flexible dates, it would seem from a rough guess that the most popular dates to travel (based on high prices) are Fridays and Saturdays; marginally behind it would be Thursdays. Keeping in mind it takes virtually 2 days to go from the USA to Australia, leaving on Fri and Sat allows you to arrive in Australia on Sun and Mon respectively. Not sure if this is driven by business people.

This is by no means accurate at all. During peak travel times, almost any given day can be full. Are you trying to chance on op-ups? :)

EDIT: Damn, beaten to the punch on the humour...

No, no you're not! :mrgreen::mrgreen:

At a guess -- busiest day is going to be Friday night; it allows a full working week and gets back on the Sunday morning, allowing one to be relatively human on Monday morning.

My view is Friday nights. Both lounges at TBIT and all QF flights seem to be chockers.

Yes I thought it would get some attention......you can gauge a lot about people from online reactions.

Two fold - when in op up space and when not in the op up space.

Personally i believe Friday or sat ex US.

I must admit this was my first thought!
