Seriously speaking, I have no stats - someone with KVS or Expert Flyer might be able to put something together. Or use FlightStats with a lot of trials.
Using a crude method, which is checking some prices on LAX-SYD on QF with flexible dates, it would seem from a rough guess that the most popular dates to travel (based on high prices) are Fridays and Saturdays; marginally behind it would be Thursdays. Keeping in mind it takes virtually 2 days to go from the USA to
Australia, leaving on Fri and Sat allows you to arrive in Australia on Sun and Mon respectively. Not sure if this is driven by business people.
This is by no means accurate at all. During peak travel times, almost any given day can be full. Are you trying to chance on op-ups?
