Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Anyone else having a dry spell with offers? We have 3 cards and we haven't received any bonus points offers for this week or last week. Although we have earned almost 10.5k worth of Qantas points thru bonus offers this month so maybe I can't complain!

Apart from a BWS offer, which wasn't worth taking up because anything I would have bought was cheaper at DMs, it has been postively desert-like in our household.

Woolworths Rewards don't send out offers as often as Flybuys. Often it can be a month before the next offer comes through. The less often you use each card, the more often the offers will come.

Thanks for replies. Mr_Orange - I'm glad it's not just our house that isn't getting offers - fingers crossed the offers start arriving soon! rainbowgirl - Thx for advice - I'll consolidate spending on one card to see if that triggers offers on the others.

Good luck. I hope some good offers arrive soon.

I had an offer for 12,000 points for a spend of $30 over 4 weeks ($120) at a specified branch, which is fine. I actually prefer it to the one I usually use, the only reason I don't use it more often is that it is located at Harbourtown: lots of seconds stores, but no other grocery/bakery/butcher stores there.

Hang on. If I'm calculating that correctly, that's a 50% return based on Woolworths dollars calculations. I haven't seen that sort of return for a long time. I am guessing WW are trying to get people into that particular supermarket. I'm wondering if the other shops are in a building owned by Woolworths and they are trying to get business for the other traders and give them a chance for long term tenants. WW expect you to shop at the other businesses while you are there anyway.

4 week offers in the email today: 5000 points for 4*65, 4000 points for 4*45. Rejected both using the feedback form, would encourage others to do so

Week 1 spend $30 get 1,000 points, Week 2 spend $40 get 2,000 points and Week 3 spend $50 get 3,000 points.
Not sure I will bother as Mrs RB is part way through a multi week offer with Flybuys

I've managed to keep my flybuys targets so low that I can afford to take up the 3 week Woolworths offers and the Coles offers. The WR offer above is one of the best offers you can get.

Finally a not bad offer.

4 week offers in the email today: 5000 points for 4*65, 4000 points for 4*45. Rejected both using the feedback form, would encourage others to do so

My offer was 4*80 for 7000 bonus points, way over my usual weekly spend, and to add insult to injury, it has to be in one transaction each week!! Nope, not going to happen, will be rejecting this one.

3200 for 2 x $110 pw.
Pretty average compared to lately

I had the same offer last week, this will be my second week. I did it because they have come way down from the $180 spend they wanted last time. Then I will go back to Coles until they come down again!

Okay, bear with me while I go through the family offers.

4 week offer, $45 target each week, 4000 points at the end of 4 weeks
The card which received the above offer also currently has a 2 week offer where each week works independently. The target for that offer is $50 for 800 points.
We'll be taking up the above offer and in the first week we will effectively get 1800 points for week 1.

Other offers are as follows:
4 week offer, $60 per week for a total of 5000 points at the end of 4 weeks
2 week offer, $60 per week for 1000 points each week, can take up week 2 even if you didn't do week 1
2 week offer, $50 per week for 800 points each week, can take up week 2 even if you don't do week 1

Probably won't take up any of the offers on the other family members card. It's actually my card which got the best of the offers, not that any of the offers are all that attractive. The returns are around 10% which is better than 7% but not as good as the 15-20% which used to be offered on a regular basis.

I had a "spend $50 each week for 2 weeks and earn 1,600 points" offer from Woolies.

Not nearly as good as the "spend $50 for 4 weeks and earn 10,000 points" offer I got from Flybuys last week...

I got some bonus points offers for minimum spends over two weeks and today's offer, not points but I'm pretty happy and will take this up. 01503892423.jpg

Slightly OT but does anyone have a link about the guy who accrued hundreds of thousands of Qantas points from purchasing cat food and spice packs?
