Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

My offer this week is spend $175/week for 4 weeks starting next week and get 16,000 Woolworths points.

Spend target is quite high but should be achievable.

My offer spend $110 x 4 weeks for 12000 points.
T&C says it can be over 1 or more shops.

I have received exactly the same offer. Have never spent that much over 4 weeks & am not going to start now so it's a no from me.

Nasty sting in the tail of W vs C offers (yet again).

W offer email sent starting from Wednesday last week but only counts W1 from MONDAY Nov 21 through to Sun 27.

C offer similar send out date but counted W1 from FRIDAY Nov 18 through to Sun 27.

So at least with C you can have shopped this weekend and satisfy W1 but no need next weekend.

With W weekend spending doesn't count.

Oh the T&Cs.

Coles/Flybuys frequently send multiple offers to the one account which can be taken up in one transaction. This ability to stack offers is one of the attractions of Flybuys over Woolworths rewards. It's rare to be able to take up more than one Woolworths offer in a transaction. One of the only options at the moment is the general double points offer on certain foods matched with the weekly targeted email offers. One of our family members has now been given the opportunity to take up 2 email offers over the next 2 weeks (plus the usual double points promotion).

The account in question received a 4 week offer for $80 in one transaction each week to get 10,000 bonus points at the end of the 4 weeks. You need to spend the amount every week to get the points at the end. This account just received another email offer which overlaps the first 2 weeks of the 4 week offer. The second email offer is $65 spend each week in one transaction for 2000 points. The beauty of the offer is that you can choose to take up week 1 or week 2 or both weeks and still get points. The maximum points is 4000 but you don't have to take up week 1 in order to be eligible for the week 2 points.

We'll be taking up 2 Woolworths offers and 2 flybuys offers next week so we don't need to take up the 4 week offer or the first week of the 2 week offer. If we don't get any better offers for the week beginning 28/11/16 we'll take up week 2 of the 2 week offer. 2000 points for $65 spend is a fairly good reward. It's not as good as some offers but at a 15% return it's still worth taking up.

Finally got a chance to open the booklet so thought I'd summarise:

- Requires activation on mobile or by phone
- 8 weeks, runs 14 Nov to 8 Jan

All weeks: 800 points for $40 spend in one transaction, 2x points on fresh fruit, veg, fresh meat, bread, bakery, deli, seafood counter; 1000 points for $50 at BWS, 5x points on petrol at CW

Week 1&2 (14-20 nov, 21-27 nov): 5x points when you buy 3 packs of christmas decorations etc
Week 3&4 (28 Nov - 4 dec, 5-11 dec): alternatively spend $70 to get 1600 points in one transaction, 3x points on Gold products exclusive to woolworths (seems to be christmas pavlova etc)
Week 5: 2x points every time you shop at woolworths (instead of target)
Week 6,7: 3x points
Week 8 (2-8 jan) 800 for $40 or 1600 for $70

And lucky last: visit my.woolworthsrewards.com.au/bonuspoints and enter your reward card number by 25 nov to get 1000 bonus points for subscribing to emails if you activate the offer sent on december 6. This link seemed to work for accounts that did not receive booklets too :)

Anyone else have issues with triple points today? When I shopped on Friday they showed up by default at the checkout, today they didn't.

It's back to double points at the moment.

I went shopping for some vegetables earlier today and the double points were added straight away.

That email was Sunday. Today receive another email for same account to remember to spend $65 this week (in 1 transaction where as original spend was for multiple transactions) and next 3 weeks and get 8,000 Woolworths points.

Have they revised their offer? Have I got 2 offers that are achievable with one lot of spend? Very confusing.

We've just had a stream of emails in the last hour with offers for all family members. There are no activation buttons on them. It's not clear whether these are additional offers or modifications of previous offers. It could be that Woolworths have embraced overlapping offers like I mentioned a few days ago. Unfortunately the Woolworths Rewards accounts don't have a page to view activated targeted offers like the flybuys accounts do. The "offers" page in Woolworths Rewards accounts only shows products on special and fuel discounts, none of which I would consider as "offers". Some of the targets on these emails don't match the previous offers.

To make things even stranger I came across an add for Woolworths Rewards on my mobile phone last night. It claimed that any member could apply for a 4 week offer starting this week of 10,000 points for an $80 spend each week in one transaction for 4 weeks. There was a space on the add where anyone could enter their 13 digit Woolworths Rewards number in order to apply for the offer.

I don't know what to make of it all, which is strange for me.

The good news is that one of the email offers this morning had a target of $40 (each week for 4 weeks) which should be achievable this week in addition to the other Woolworths offers we're taking up this week.
