Overnight oats are great in summer. Oats with yoghurt, fruit, nuts etc.

They are eaten cold, so great for summer.
If you google it you’ll find multiple recipes so you can use whatever fruit, yoghurt, nuts etc that you like.

Oats hot or cold have the texture of old fashioned wall paper paste - eww. Only edible when coated in golden syrup inside an Anzac biscuit. If my often had been for oats it would have been left unclaimed.

You clearly have not had porridge made properly.

Porridge (and also Bircher muesli) made anyway is slopy, and oats have no flavour hence the need to add copiius amounts of Sugar/honey/fruit to make it edible. I'll pass.

A proper hot breakfast doesnt need any cereal. Bacon and eggs far more satisfying and naturally sugar free.

Different people like different things, but any oats offered as a freebie will remeain unclaimed by me. As would any freebie product containing artificial sweeteners or corriander.

I've made overnight oats before and found the result just okay so I'm assuming that the packaged variety won't rise to that dubious level. Don't know why I picked them up; didn't think it through.
