Ever forget where you're going?

Commonly go to check in (when swapping FF numbers, I don't do OLCI) and tell them I am flying to XYZ when I am already in XYZ

Definitely.

Couple of times have checked in OK, gone to Lounge.

Checking departures board a bit later, absolute panic to see that my flight to Sydney (for example) has just closed. Get up and start walking to desk ... then look at BP and relieved to see that I'm going to Melbourne.

Happy to report I got to the airport at 0550 this morning thinking I was going to Melbourne and in fact I was... fail for the day was getting halfway back to the airport and realising I'd left my bag complete with car keys in the boardroom.. taxi drivers eye lit up as he scored double the fare.

I used to do a number of trips to Melbourne and Brisbane monthly. I remember being in a taxi from the airport to the city one day and having absolutely no idea which city I was in. I had to pull out my info to see what flight I'd just been on...

two weeks ago the lovely lady in the Business Lounge in Sydney said "enjoy Melbourne" and I said "oh, I thought it was Canberra" and she said, "no, that's tomorrow!" My Monday - Thursday was Brisbane, , Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane

I do recall a trip a couple of years ago where I was travelling around so much, and was so tired. I nodded off for a sleep on board when the FA woke me up for the meal which I had asked to have before landing (rather than after take off). At that point for a while, I had no idea where I was. It wasn't until I shook myself and regained composure that I realised what flight I was on and where I was going. I apologised to the FA for the bewilderment; apparently she coolly said to think nothing of it, as if this isn't one of the weirdest things she's dealt with.

The staff at CBR J lounge are magnificent. I remember their top level service like this very fondly.

I suppose it's not strictly forgetting where you are going, but I sometimes forget where I actually am.

Quite often, and usually on the first night of a stay, I wake up in a hotel room and have, for a second or two, absolutely no idea of where I am! :)

While I haven't done anything like that yet, these days, I don't remember my flight numbers or exact departure time. I just turn up to the airport at around the right time, and hand over the passport (I mostly take int flights). And then have the BP details committed to my short term memory.

Done that before. Rung up for a cab, and when they asked for a pickup location, I realised I didn't actually know where I was!

They should do it the SIN way... have an app for the phone, which can automatically set the location based on the GPS.
