Great TR, thanks.

I agree re Sarajevo although at night I found a great vibe in the 'Ottoman' old town. Outside of the capital, I found Bosnia & Herzegovina simply gorgeous, bordering on worth a second visit, but as you observed, its 'poor fellow my country' with the competing interests of its neighbours brought inside.

Maybe this should be a separate thread but, other than world domination, what is LH groups plan for all of its various member groups? As we were pushing back there were these two Edelweiss jets parked adjacent.

So does Edelweiss just cover low yield holiday markets? Sort of like a German JQ. And Air Dolomiti covers low yield markets from Italy like a QFLink as does LX for Switzerland, OS for Austria, SN for Brussels etc. Where will AZ fit in that picture? And what is this new LH City? Is that a Germany based QFLink equivalent? @Mattg is this something you could break down and explain in Australian terms?

This is probably better discussed in another thread, but all the different LH subsidiaries never cease to amaze me. Many of them serve different countries and/or market segments, but then there's subsidiaries like Lufthansa City Airlines, which exists pretty much for no other reason than for LH to reduce labour costs on short-haul routes.

Lufthansa Cityline used to be the QantasLink equivalent, but that's going away. It's all a bit of a mixed bag.
