Hi All,

I travel to Europe a couple of times a year normally J class. I've started buying tickets Europe-Oz-Europe which are almost always cheaper than buying tickets Oz-Europe-Oz. Next time I want to travel home to OZ via the Americas (dont mind north or south). Anyone got any ideas on best priced J class options, preferrably oneworld? Or should I go for a RTW ticket? If so, has anyone figured out the best place in Europe to buy a Oneworld RTW? Don't know if it matters but I'm based in MEL.

Cheers

PS - if anyone's come across a UK/Europe website that lists all offers like on bestflights then pls let me know - been trying to find something like that for ages!

Have you tried kayak.com ? It is a US-based site that summarises fares from several other sites. Using sample dates of 01/09/2010 - 29/09/2010, I was able to find a LHR - MEL (flying via LAX and AKL) Business Class on Air New Zealand for $USD 5282.

You specifically mentioned coming via the Americas, but if you wanted to come QF via SIN, the site showed that for only $USD4359.

Hope that helps.
