Hi all, new member to this website

My partner and I are looking at booking a trip to Europe in August-September 2025 for 3-4 weeks. Departing from Adelaide. We will be spending most (if not all) of our time in Greece.

We are keen to fly business class return with max 1 stop each leg. I have started looking around at potential flights, and it looks like Singapore currently have business class return to Istanbul (around 7-8k per person). Compared to return flights to Athens (10k+ per person).

I am just hoping to get some insight into the best time to book, recommendations for travel alerts/search databases, airlines, cities to fly into/out of etc. in order to get the best price and service possible

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just use Google Flights - put your destination in as Europe to compare prices and use the filters to meet your needs.

Book when happy with the price/airline.

Best (not cheapest) airlines out of Adelaide are Singapore and Qatar and both offer one stop and multiple Europe options.

To be fair to the OP, there are certainly deals available that are not accessible via Google Flights.

Although seeking a max 1-stop EW probably means Google Flights will be close to as good as it gets.

If the OP is more flexible, some advice in this article could be useful:

Sales are usually October and February but have been going earlier (late Sept and late Jan)

Late August 2025 fares are not all up

I did look these up the other day
Cheapest to Athens is Malaysian to KL and Turkish airlines via Istanbul to Athens
About $5,800 return
Noticed a SQ Scandi at $6,500ish return
