Can anyone provide experience with wait times for SC posting on a VA codeshare flight with VS (VA booking, VS flight) ?

Wondering if the upgrade will come through in the 7 days that we will be in London to take advantage of lounge access for the whole family on the way out (there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids - I am already SG) or if we are dreaming.
