An 0225 hours scheduled departure from MEL for a long international flight isn't my favourite time, but many may find it convenient as it avoids getting up super early in the morning, and may have good connections in this case in DXB.
On Sunday 11 June 2023, B773ER A6-EGY on EK405's recently resumed MEL to SIN run took off at 0358, so arrival should be at about 0928 hours, 73 minutes tardy. The second sector from SIN top DXB is scheduled for pushback at 0940, quite tight, but is estimated to be an hour later today. The plane had arrived MEL opn Saturday 10 at 1922 hours, 13 minutes early as EK404 from SIN, so not sure why this morning's sparrows' delay.
EK409 (the 0515 hours SUnday MEL-DXB, A388 A6-EEQ) was airborne at 0557 with suggested gate arrival becoming 1338 hours, 33 late. The winds in this direction may be adverse.
A6-EVL, another A380, is similar with its timetabled 0600 hours SYD pushback seeing takeoff at 0635 for mooted DXB arrival of 1442 hours, 32 behind.
